Golf Day 2006 |
The Eastbourne Lodge Golf Day was held on the Devonshire course at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club on Friday 18th August 2006.
The day started with a 'Texas Scramble' round in the morning, followed by lunch and then the main event of 18 holes playing for Stableford points. Memories of last year's bad weather came to mind as grey sky and showers appeared early on, but fortunately the clouds soon passed and the players were treated to a bit of sunshine and refreshment at the mid-way point.
The evening function raised £160 in aid of the Master's chosen charities. Many thanks to all the Brethren and guests for their support. We look forward to another successful event next year.
